3. Analytics Privacy Settings

Google Analytics

In production, Google Analytics loads with Consent Mode v2 denied defaults before the analytics script is loaded:

  • ✓Denied by Default: Analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization start denied until you grant analytics consent
  • ✓Privacy Settings: IP anonymization is enabled, Google Signals are disabled, and ad personalization signals are disabled
  • ✓Revocation: When analytics consent is revoked, GA consent returns to denied and existing GA cookies are deleted where possible

PostHog EU Cloud

PostHog is configured for EU Cloud and is opt-out-by-default until analytics consent is granted:

  • ✓Consent Gated: Capturing is opted out by default and only opts in after analytics consent
  • ✓Limited Capture: Autocapture, automatic page views, pageleave capture, and session recording are disabled
  • ✓Profiles: Person profiles are limited to identified-only behavior

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically force analytics and marketing preferences off, keep the switches disabled, and suppress analytics capture even if a prior preference was stored.
